We Need Your Help

Performing regular concerts contributes to the band’s budget, both through the fees we receive for the performances and the visibility it gives to our patrons. The band experienced reduced patron contributions last year in addition to the loss of all performance income. We find ourselves in the same situation for this spring and likely for most of the summer.

We will be sending out our patron request letters to previous patrons and our band members asking those folks to consider supporting the band if financially able to do so. If you receive one of those letters, we hope that you will consider supporting us. Click here for a PDF version of the patron letter

If you are not a previous patron or band member and would like to support the band, you can send a check to the band at Post Office Box 53, Bainbridge, PA 17502. If your address does not appear on your check, please include it in the mailing so we can send our thanks along with a confirming letter for tax documentation purposes. If you know someone who might be interested in supporting the band, please pass along this information.

We intend to return to our schedule of free community concerts, parades, and dedications as soon as it is safe to do that. Thank you for considering supporting our band.

Welcome to the home of the Bainbridge Band!

We invite you to take a look around our web site. Our band was established in 1896 and has been an asset to our community and surrounding areas ever since. The Bainbridge band not only benefits the community as a source of live entertainment, but it also provides an excellent experience for young people to learn discipline, responsibility and appreciation of our heritage. We rehearse most Monday nights throughout the year at 7:30 pm in our band hall at 19 Front Street in Bainbridge, PA 17502.

Your support of the live arts enables the Bainbridge Band to bring the best in music to our community. With the continuing significant expenses to maintain the band hall, we cannot exist without your help! Please consider becoming a patron and make it possible for us to continue offering free “Concerts-in-the-Park” each summer.

If you are interested in having the band perform at your facility or event, call Mike Weaver at 717-361-8385 for specific information.
